- In
India tempting delicious looking food is sold by street
vendors, avoid eating such food, you may end with "Delhi
belly" (Diarrhea).
- Check
for mineral water bottle seals before buying them. Drinking
boiled water is another good option if you are on an outdoor
tour and have no access to bottled water.
- The
subtropical climate in India will drive you to have cool
beverages topped with ice, avoid these drinks instead
try carbonated drinks, in cans or bottles.
- Every
Indian street is abundant with stray dogs, cats, cattles
etc., stay away form them.
- Many
tourist spot in India have lakes and fresh water ponds
with precautionary boards mentioning all points to avoid
the risk of danger, please follow them.

sleeved shirts and long pants, especially while touring
wild life areas and trekking in jungle to prevent insect
bites.
- Carry
insect repellent, which also could be bought in local market
from a chemist shop.
- Regular
stock of medicine for common ailments.
- Carry
one extra set of lock and chain, this will be essential
particularly if you are traveling in a train.
- Carry
an umbrella or raincoat if rappelling during monsoon.
- Please
secure all your traveling documents like Passport, Visa,
Travellers Cheques, avoid keeping all these documents
together and losing them.
